Description
Are your students struggling to manage materials and perform well on assessments? Many students’ academic struggles may be attributed to a lack of executive functioning skills.
Executive functions are a set of mental skills that include working memory, flexible thinking, and self-regulation. They are the bridge between social and emotional learning (SEL) and academic content teaching.
The Effective Student Method:
The Effective Student method provides teachers with the tools to help their students achieve their full potential – through uniquely structured lessons designed to assist in the development of executive functioning skills, from organization and time management to study skills and test analysis.
Designed by Rachael Barron (parent, seasoned academic coach, and former education advocate) and curriculum written by Danielle LeFevers, M.Ed., in curriculum design, the Effective Student Method™ provides students, parents, and teachers with proven resources to master executive functions and maximize academic success.
